Perished Lands is a place of many cities. Fifteen different cities surround the Natural City of Gods also known as Tailomia. Each of these fifteen cities is home to a different race. So, when you start the game you may not end up in the same city as another player. although, whilst playing, if you visit another city and feel that you would like to move there, you can buy ‘citizenship’ of that city, and from then on, that city will be your home. also, each city also has it’s own racial language. So in order to communicate with other players, and other city inhabitants, you will need to visit the scholar of that city and learn the language.
Each city has the same amenities. Each has a bank where you can deposit/withdraw money, an inn where you can leave the game safely, shops to buy weapons, amour and provisions, a trainer and a scholar to learn your skills & spells and a central fountain with the questmaster.
Death, in this world, is by no means permanent.
When you die, you will return to the centre of your home city. However, your corpse and all your belongings, will remain where you died. So, as soon as possible you need to return to the place of your death to recover your things. If you leave it too long, your corpse will decompose, leaving your belongings available to any passer by.
Throughout your life you can earn favor from the Deity that you choose to worship, and collect your belongings through powerful magic called Supplication. If your worthy!
Each racial city has access to the donation room. This is a place where characters can donate items that they don’t want for people that need a helping hand. anything you find in this room is freely available to take. although every city has access to this central room, when you leave, you will return to the city you came from. So you may not be able to ‘follow’ anyone you meet in this room.
