This area covers the RULES of Perished Lands.
These are the rules for the Perished Lands Mud.
1) Everything said on public channels is logged. If you must speak of something that you do not neccessarily wish to be public information, please use a private channel like TELL, or WHISPER.
2) All players will not harrass, either sexually or verbally any other player, immortal, or being, on this MUD. If you do, you will be banned from our site.
3) If you have any questions about whether the game is fair, your argument can be heard by an Immortal. With that said, all arguments settled by an Immortal shall be FINAL.
4) Any time a player wishes to consider permanently leaving the MUD, the DELETE command is the only way to truly purge your player.
5) If you lose experience points, level, equipment, or any other game related points, due to a game malfunction, crash, bug or other anomoly, there shall be an attempt to restore your player. If for any reason there is a permanance to your situation, the decision of the Immortal in charge is FINAL.
6) Spamming a player in any way is disruptive to the game. Anyone caught intentionally spamming another player will be dealt with accordingly.
7) Player Killing is restricted and HARD CODED. You will only be able to kill another player who is chosen and within the same experience ranges. However, We have a REMORT system, and it very well may be possible for a lower level to kill a higher level. Only a True PKiller will know thier limitations.
8) Any exploitation of a unknown or known BUG or Coding Problem for personal gain is strictly prohibited. Any occurance of such acts are logged and the character will be dealt with accordingly. Avoid problems by Notifying an Immortal right away. Also USE the Command (BUG) to submit your finding in case immortals are not readily available. This will keep you out of trouble.
9) The use of sexual explitives or connotations in your NAME or TITLE will not be tolerated. Please consider that we are ALL ages here and that Public Channels are to be used accordingly.
10) Abuse of Public Channels, like Chat or Shout for GAME INFO is prohibited. Questions like "... Where is the Potion", or "How do I Kill Dractax ..." are not allowed. Punishment is Silence.
11) Do Not Bother the Immortals with things such as 'Get My Corpse' or 'Give Me...'. Please Help the Immortals by dealing with your problems through other mortals. Our Staff will intervene when needed.
12) Common Courtesy is a big part of this game. If you don't know the meaning, look it up! Failure to comply with this will result in a ban of your site.
13) Multiaccounting/Multiplaying is strictly forbidden. Any interaction between your players at any time will result in a ban of your site. This includes but is not limited to trading EQ, gold, or tanking a mob for your weaker player. This also includes giving your eq to a vendor with one player and buying it with your other players. Also note that this is the same as trading EQ with your other players from your account. ANY interaction between players from your account/site is not allowed. "If your player gets a piece of EQ, and it ends up on another one of your players, then that is Multiplaying". Got it? !!
